Injured in a car crash?
Chiropractor for Car Crash Injuries in Lake Nona
If you were hurt in a car crash, call us for a same-day injury evaluation. Our doctors are trauma qualified, we explain your options in plain language, and we document your care so your insurance claim and your recovery are on solid footing.

Florida's 14-day rule
Under Florida's no-fault system, you generally must begin medical care within 14 days of a collision to use your Personal Injury Protection benefits (Florida Statutes, section 627.736). Waiting can put those benefits at risk, and many collision injuries do not show up until days afterward. If you have been in a crash, get evaluated even if you feel fine.

Questions after a collision
How soon after a car crash should I see a chiropractor in Lake Nona?
As soon as you can. Florida's no-fault law generally requires you to start treatment within 14 days of the crash to use your Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits, and symptoms such as neck pain and headaches often appear days later.
Do I need to see a medical doctor first?
Not necessarily. You can start with a chiropractic evaluation. Under Florida PIP rules, only certain medical providers, such as an MD, DO, dentist, physician assistant or advanced practice nurse, can determine an emergency medical condition, which affects how much PIP coverage is available. We coordinate referrals for imaging and medical evaluation when they are appropriate.
Will my insurance pay for care after a collision?
Many patients use their PIP coverage, and coverage depends on your policy. We bill your insurance, coordinate with your claim, and explain your portion before treatment begins.
Can you work with my attorney?
Yes. With your written authorization we communicate with your attorney's office and provide organized records and progress updates.
What does a same-day injury evaluation include?
A detailed history of the crash and symptoms, orthopedic and neurologic screening as clinically appropriate, range-of-motion and functional testing, and a personalized care plan with goals and next steps.
